Editorial methodology and corrections

What WEBU Journal publishes
WEBU Journal is an independent editorial magazine about business, technology, marketing and work. It publishes research commentary and practical professional guides. It is not a peer-reviewed scientific journal and does not provide clinical assessment.
Selecting and verifying sources
We select studies for reader relevance rather than keyword counts alone. We check authors, title, date, venue and DOI against registration records and, where available, the publisher. A DOI identifies a record; it does not establish valid findings. We inspect available correction and retraction notices, while recognising that no notice is not proof of quality.
What review scope means
Each research commentary states whether we compared full text, a preprint, an abstract or metadata only. We do not infer samples or results from titles. An inaccessible full text does not receive a scientifically verified label. Future dates and unresolved publication status remain visible limitations.
Methods, findings and interpretation
We compare the research question, design, sampling, analytical methods and major limitations. We distinguish self-report from objective measurement, association from causality and theoretical models from experimental evidence. For psychological constructs we consider validity and reliability; high internal consistency alone does not validate a construct.
Practical recommendations
WEBU’s own proposals are labelled separately. If a study did not test our pilot, we say so. We do not turn regression coefficients into percentage savings or promise effects beyond the studied population. We do not invent participant samples for professional handbooks.
Language, images and technical checks
We compare SK and EN for meaning and language quality. Image records identify source, licence and relevance; stock illustrations do not depict study participants. We check links, canonical URLs, hreflang, descriptions, structured data and the sitemap. Passing a technical test establishes neither scientific validity nor Google indexing.
How we use AI
AI assists source discovery, drafting, editing, translation, source comparison and technical checks. It can make mistakes. The WEBU author/editor remains responsible for publication decisions. AI-assisted comparison is not described as independent scientific peer review, and we do not claim data reanalysis unless it was actually performed.
Approval and daily drafts
The free Crossref, Python and GitHub Actions workflow prepares up to five bibliographic drafts daily. These are not five completed scientifically assessed articles. New text requires documented sources, complete SK/EN versions, an image, editorial checks and owner approval. Missing evidence or a source-quality hold blocks publication. Unapproved automatic publication is disabled.
Updates and corrections
Substantive revisions preserve original publication dates and URLs, display the actual update date and explain significant changes. An internal register records review scope and unresolved issues. Errors can be reported through WEBU contact with the article URL and specific claim.
WEBU editorial responsibility
Article author and publisher: WEBU. The editorial label does not imply a panel of independent scientific reviewers. Contact and responsibility for the author portfolio are available on the contact page. This methodology was updated on 4 November 2026.
