Data controller

The controller of personal data collected through the WEBU website is Martina Mundová, who operates the WEBU project. For questions about personal data, contact info@webu.sk.

Purpose and legal basis

When you send an enquiry, we process your name or company name, contact email address, selected area of interest and message to assess your request and respond. Where the enquiry concerns a possible contract, the legal basis is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR). For other enquiries, our legitimate interest in replying to the message may apply (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR), depending on the circumstances.

Service providers

The form uses Web3Forms to receive and forward enquiries. Email delivery involves providers including ImprovMX and Google. The website is hosted by GitHub Pages. These providers may process technical and other data under their applicable terms. Any transfers outside the EEA and applicable safeguards still need to be verified for the actual configuration.

Retention and your rights

We keep enquiry data only for as long as needed to assess and handle your enquiry and follow-up communication. Longer retention may be necessary for legal obligations or claims. Specific retention settings at each provider, including Web3Forms, are still being verified. You can request access, rectification, erasure or restriction of processing; where legally applicable, you may object or request data portability. You may lodge a complaint with the Slovak Data Protection Authority (Úrad na ochranu osobných údajov SR).
